Best Blog Thinker Award
Thank you Linda from Psyche Connections for passing on the Best Blog Thinker Award to Oasis. The award's creator, B. J. Roan, writes that:
"This award acknowledges the values that every Blogger displays in their effort to transmit cultural, ethical, literary, and personal values with each message they write. Awards like this have been created with the intention of promoting community among Bloggers. It’s a way to show appreciation and gratitude for work that adds value to the Web.”
I appreciate the sentiment of this award and would like to pass it on to these 5 erudite bloggers...
Mark at The Red Beech Tree for his poetic prose;
Maithri The Soaring Impulse for his skillful combination of head and heart;
Mama Shujaa for her intellectual optimism;
French Fancy for her determination in the cause of education;
Carol at The Writer's Porch for her love of books and lovely expression.
Please display this well deserved award on your blog's sidebar and pass it on in the usual manner. Congratulations!

Dear Cynthia......You certainly deserve this award and I am thrilled you think I do too!
ReplyDeleteI must confess at the moment, I could not think straight if my life depended on it. I am taking a short break from positioning about 1,000 books into shelves for the last few hours. OMG!
NO ONE EXCEPT A PUBLIC LIBRARY SHOULD HAVE SO MANY BOOKS !!! I will not part with them though!
xoxo,
Carol
Well deserved indeed!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Cynthia! on a job well done!

ReplyDeleteYou are definitely a Best Blog Thinker, Cynthia and I'm pleased and proud to accept your award. I'll do what's necessary in a blog or two but for the moment I'll grab the award and run. I will make time however to check out my fellow awardees.

Catherine (A Thousand Clapping Hands, thank you for your delightful visit. How often you bring a smile upon my face! Here's one coming now! <-)Abundant affection to you <3
ReplyDeleteNatalie, thank you for your support, dear friend! xx <3
Maithri, what a pleasure for you to come by for a visit. I know you are evey busy with your heart-work. I'm glad you are feeling more joyful. Your service to humanity is an inspiration to all of us. <3
Carol, Wow! Don't let those book get you down. I'm waiting for another recommendation!
Thank you for your praise from the South...which is a funny mind flip-flop for me because I'm south of you...but I think of your location as in The South which, btw, I lived in for a year. I adored books when I was in Tennessee...I went to the library two times a week on my way home from teaching at Motlow State College. The commute there was so long that I got addicted to audio books for company. I loved that drive in to and home from work! <3
Cynthia, thanks for the accolade. As I have told you before, I have trouble with time management and wish like The Writer's Porch I could get my books in some kind of order. You make your blog a true communication. I always read all the comments on your blog, even if I do not write a comment, because I get the feeling that people are carrying on conversations. I went to the Met at the Metro Movie Theater last night and now I know that for the rest of the week, which is almost over, there is only four or five hours of sleep a night. I would like to get much more involved in your blog and those of the people who follow your blog. But first I have to catch up at work, get my garden to take care of itself, and shed my partner. Cynthia, I admire everything you do, and how you get it done. Mark
ReplyDeleteElizabeth, thank you dear friend. <3
ReplyDeleteRon, Thanks for coming over to Oasis again. You are alway welcome.:-)
Tahgobaby dear, Thank you and yes lately a lot of attention...even from the spicy Tangobabe herself! I have the lovely Julie's professional work/photo right next to the livingroom mirror...and think of you many times throughout the day. I hope your poster photo sells! It is cute! <3
Sarah, thank you, your visit is always appreciated! I enjoy your weekly extensive and reflective blog post! <3
Mama Shujaa, how delightful for you to visit again. I expecially enjoyed your last post about being open to another opportunity. I think we all should heed your words. <3
Thank you, Lisa, for your visit and your praise! <3
French Fancy, cute! Ready Set Go! Run...you don't have time to link now, I know. I just think you deserve the recognition.
Definately, a 99 % (I can't say 100% because you might think you don't deserve it!) Thank you for your kind assessment of Oasis! I think you are "way smart"! <3
Mark, now are you saying that you can't follow up on the tags? ha! That doesn't matter, dear friend and do not shed your partner because of "blogging involvement"! What are you thinking? :-) You must be awake on this early morning too...I just got the comment before my meditation...which I must commence forthwith :-) See you soon. <3
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, well deserved! And that is a really pretty award, too :-)
ReplyDeleteDear Cynthia, Congratulations! you ARE the bestblogthinker! it is always my pleasure to come here and be so welcomed, I love all the ideas and thoughts you share, I feel like Mark in that it does amaze me how you can get so much done! Thank you for taking your time with me too!
